Develop tourism and recreation professionals, who are able, independently, create and manage a tourism business, organise the hotel activities, responsibly act in national and international tourism markets.
General course units of studies: Business Communication; Information and Communication Technologies; Basics of Law; Communication Psychology; Basics of Sociology and other.
Course units of the study field: Management, Theory of Economics, Tourism Recourses and Geography; Tourism Typology; Business Ethics; Professional Foreign Language, Intercultural Communication, Hospitality Services, Tourism Marketing, Tourism Business Organisation, Services Quality Management; Tourism Service Pricing, Food Service Organisation, Sales Management, Tourism Service Pricing, Company Economics and Finance, Accommodation Services, Tourism Informational Systems, Tourism Project Management and etc. Students perform training and final professional internships, the total volume of which is 30 credits.

Elective course units (EUC): Elective course units are appointed to interdisciplinary studies or educating general competencies from the list of college elective course units.
The study evaluation: Cumulative assessment and a ten-scale assessment system are applied. In subject and module programmes, concrete evaluation structural elements are foreseen, their weight in final evaluation, the content of concrete evaluation tasks, criteria and requirements. When applying cumulative assessment the learning outcomes are evaluated by interim assignments. Studies of each subject end with an examination. Student knowledge and skills are evaluated during the exam session only then, if during semester a student satisfies the requirements and tasks of interim evaluation foreseen in the programme of a course unit. Achieved results of Tourism and Hotels study programme students demonstrate while defending thesis.
Graduates will be able to handle different types of tourism enterprises, providing accommodation and catering, travel, tourism, information, entertainment, and other services required to meet the needs of tourists, to lead the company’s marketing, sales, customer service, travel, lodging and other units as well as to establish tourism businesses and hotels.
