Dynamic, innovative as much as practical, the programme consists of an interdisciplinary network, with other Departments associated effectively, in order to meet fast advancing global demands on both academic and professional dimensions. Specifying the pedagogical direction, the programme at its core operates Integrated Studio system: one that, on a strategic level, fosters creative stances to challenge the conventional understanding of design as a means of communication and to experiment communication as a technological means of design, by incorporating varied informational maneuvers into the process of producing, distributing and consuming spaces. After completing this programme graduates can work in a private/public organization to further develop his/her specialties in such fields as architectural design, interior design, urban planning, landscape design, and heritage management; create their own business of architectural design. This will lead to varied ways of becoming a registered architect: those who obtain registration certificate from the Lithuanian Chamber of Architects are entitled to professional activities in EU countries legitimately. Pursuing academic carriers, a distinct graduate will be provided with supports to engage in teaching and researching projects. The graduates are also eligible to enter the Second Cycle studies (Master Degree level).
